Participant Activity View

After completing registration, participants can view and interact with their Activities. This is where they see their selections, assignments, and any updates related to your Program.

Accessing Activities

Participants can return to their Program at any time using:

  • A link from an email
  • A saved Program link in a web browser
  • The Eventene Mobile App

They are taken directly to their personalized Activity view. Mobile App users do not need a fresh link each time — their Programs are already in the app.

What participants see

Participants only see Activities that are relevant to them. An Activity is visible to a participant when:

  • It references a Group the participant belongs to
  • They have selected it during registration (for optional Activities)
  • It is automatically included (for required or Link-attendance Activities)

For the access model, see What is an Activity?.

Viewing Activity details

Within each Activity, participants can:

  • View descriptions and details
  • See dates, times, and locations
  • Review related information provided by the organizer

Updating responses

If the organizer's settings allow it, participants can:

  • Change attendance selections
  • Update answers to questions

Availability of updates depends on Program settings, including response-timing controls. See How Attendance Works.

Attendance status and the overall pill

A participant's overall attendance shows as Attending, Waitlisted, Not Attending, or Undecided. If they joined the waitlist for a full activity, the overall pill shows Waitlisted (yellow/orange) — not Attending. This is consistent across the mobile app and web registration.

Closed and completed activities

  • An activity that is closed for changes (its response window has ended, with late sign-ups off) stays visible but read-only — participants can see their selection but can't change it.
  • An activity that has completed (already happened) is hidden from the participant's response view.
  • After the deadline, some buttons may be disabled. A participant who is Waitlisted can still leave a closed activity, but a confirmed attendee can't cancel their own spot once the deadline has passed.

When the organizer has enabled late sign-ups, participants can still sign up or join/leave the waitlist after the deadline, until the activity ends.

Viewing assignments

Participants may see assignments such as:

  • Table or seating assignments
  • Room or session placements
  • Roles or responsibilities

Assignments appear when the organizer has configured them.

Staying up to date

Participants can return at any time to:

  • Review their selections
  • Check for updates
  • View changes to assignments or details

Email notifications and (when enabled) push notifications can direct participants back to their Activities. For the broader communication model, see How Communication Works in Eventene.

Tips for organizers

  • Use clear Activity names and descriptions
  • Keep important information easy to find
  • Update Activities when details change
  • Pin announcements to the Event Feed for time-sensitive updates (The Event Feed)
