Copy Activities
Copying an activity allows you to reuse an existing setup within your program. This is useful when creating similar sessions, steps, or tasks without rebuilding them from scratch.
Why Copy Activities
- Save time when creating similar activities
- Maintain consistent structure and settings
- Avoid re-entering questions, descriptions, and configurations
What Gets Copied
When you copy an activity, the following elements are included:
- Activity type (Schedule, Registration, or Lead)
- Descriptions and settings
- Questions and configuration
- Attendance settings
- Tags applied to the activity
What Does Not Get Copied
- Participant responses
- Attendance selections
- Assignments
Each copied activity starts fresh for participants.
How to Copy an Activity
- Open your program
- Go to the Activities tab
- Click New Activity
- Choose Copy an Activity
- Select the activity you want to copy, then in the General section give the new activity a Name and confirm its Type (it defaults to the source activity's type)
- In the Schedule section, set the Start and End for the copy — the schedule is fully editable, so the copy does not have to keep the original's dates and times
- Click Create
The new activity appears alongside your existing activities. Open it to fine-tune the rest of its settings in the editor.
You can also start a copy directly from an existing activity: open its ⋯ menu on the Activities tab and choose Copy, which opens the same panel with that activity already selected.
