Mobile App

The Eventene Mobile App is the central surface for participants who interact with Programs over time — recurring members, returning attendees, or anyone who wants to access multiple Events from one place.

Get the app

The Eventene Mobile App is available for iOS and Android. Install it from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in.

How sign-in works

When you open the app, you start by entering your email. From there:

  • If your email is already on an Eventene account, the app welcomes you back and lets you sign in with a password or a one-time magic link sent to your email
  • If your email is on an active or upcoming Event invitation but you don't yet have an account, the app invites you to create one (enter your name, set a password)
  • If your email isn't found anywhere, the app says so and invites you to try a different email — useful if you have multiple addresses and aren't sure which one your organizer used

You can also sign in with Apple, Google, Microsoft, or Facebook (Apple is iOS-only). When you use a social sign-in, the email on that social account must match the email your organizer used to invite you. If it doesn't match, you may see an empty Events list — log out and try again with the matching email, or use the email-and-password flow instead.

What the Mobile App does

Once signed in, the Mobile App is where you:

  • See all your Events (in progress, upcoming, completed)
  • View Activity schedules, locations, and descriptions
  • Register for an Event (the same flow as the Webform, inside the app)
  • Update your responses to attendance, surveys, or payments
  • View your Digital Badge — with QR code for check-in
  • See Messages — Event Feed, Activity Rooms, and Direct Messages (if the organizer enabled them)
  • Receive push notifications for messages and reminders

When to use the Mobile App

Use the Mobile App when:

  • You take part in recurring Programs and want one home for them
  • You need your Digital Badge for check-in
  • You want to receive in-app messages and notifications
  • You are using Eventene on the day of an Event

If you are registering once for a one-time Event from a desktop computer, the Webform in your browser works equally well. Both surfaces share the same underlying data.

Your Digital Badge

In the Mobile App, your Digital Badge is the card that shows your name, your photo (if you've added one), and a QR code unique to you for this Event. To open it, tap the green Attending button on the Event's main details page.

Organizers and Event Staff scan your Digital Badge to check you in at activities, exchange information at sponsor booths (if your Event uses Lead Generation), and confirm your identity for anything that needs it.

A few things to know:

  • The QR code on your badge is different from any organizer-placed QR codes you might find around the Event (those award Points if your Event uses them)
  • If you have multiple people on your account (Personas), each person has their own Digital Badge

Your Profile Visibility is a separate, account-level setting in the Mobile App's Account Settings — it controls whether other participants can see you and start Direct Messages with you. Turning it off applies to all Personas on your account and persists across every Event you take part in. Organizers and Event Staff can always see you regardless of this setting; the toggle only affects peer visibility.

You don't need to do anything special with your Digital Badge — just have it ready to show when someone needs to scan it.
