Billing & Payment Methods
Overview
Billing is managed at the organization level, not per event.
Eventene supports two billing methods:
- Invoice — annual billing handled outside the app
- Credit card — managed in the app with automatic renewal
The available options depend on how your organization is set up.
Only the Owner and Admins can view or change billing information.
Payment Methods
Paying by Invoice
We send an annual invoice at the start of your subscription and each year thereafter until cancelled.
- Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date
- Late payments may incur a late fee
We accept payment via ACH or wire. Refer to the payment instructions on the invoice.
Invoice billing is annual only and is managed outside the app.

Paying by Credit Card
If your organization pays by credit card, your billing details are managed in the app.
We charge your card at the start of your subscription and automatically on each renewal (monthly or annual), unless Auto-Renew is disabled.
An additional service fee may be applied to card payments to cover transaction costs.
How to Use It
Open your billing information
- Sign in to Eventene
- Open the Account page from the left sidebar
- Click the Billing tab
The Billing tab is used for accounts paying by credit card. If you pay by invoice, billing is managed outside the app.
What you can see and change
The Billing tab is organized into a few sections.
Billing Profile
- Plan Type — your current paid plan
- Billing Frequency — monthly or annual
- Next Billing Date — when your next charge will run
- Next Renewal Amount — what you will be charged on that date
- Auto-Renew — whether the plan renews automatically
You can change your plan or disable Auto-Renew from the Billing tab. See Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan and Cancel Your Account.
Payment History
A record of past charges with dates and amounts. Use this to confirm billing or reference previous payments.
Payment Method
The card currently on file for your subscription.
Click this section to update it — for example, when the existing card expires or when you want to switch to a different card.
Changes take effect on the next renewal.
If a payment attempt fails, the updated card may be used for a retry.
Billing cycles
Paid plans bill on either a monthly or annual cycle, depending on what you chose when you signed up or last changed plans.
- Monthly plans renew once a month from the day you started or last changed plans
- Annual plans renew once a year and are typically cheaper per month than the monthly equivalent
Renewal happens automatically unless you disable Auto-Renew before the Next Billing Date.
If a payment fails, Eventene may retry the charge. Access to paid features may be limited until billing is resolved.
Tips & Best Practices
- Update your card before it expires to avoid an interrupted renewal
- Keep an Admin or the Owner reachable around your Next Billing Date in case the charge needs attention
- Use the Payment History section to reference past charges for finance or reimbursement purposes
