Getting Started with Eventene
Overview
Eventene is used by organizations to run programs and events — things like conferences, trainings, classes, or volunteer activities.
As a participant, you use Eventene to: - register for events - choose activities or sessions - view your schedule - stay up to date with changes
Everything you need is tied to your participation in a Program.
How You Get Started
Most people start in one of two ways:
- You receive an email invitation with a button like Register or RSVP
- You open the Eventene Mobile App and see your Programs there
From either starting point, you are taken into the same experience — your registration and event information.
Registering for a Program
When you first open your link or the app, you’ll usually:
- Confirm your attendance
- Choose activities (if applicable)
- Answer any required questions
- Complete payment (if required)
Once you finish these steps, you’re registered.
After You Register
After registering, you can return at any time to:
- view your schedule
- check which activities you selected
- update your responses (if allowed)
- stay informed about updates
Your information stays connected to you, whether you return through a link or the Mobile App.
Across Programs
If you are invited to another Program from the same organization later — or to a different organization's Program with the same email — your account, profile, and history carry over. You do not start fresh each time.
- The Mobile App keeps you signed in and shows all your Programs in one place
- Your profile details (custom field data, tags assigned to you, contact info) stay attached to you
- Your accumulated history (past attendance, past payments, past responses) remains accessible
This continuity is intentional. Eventene is designed for ongoing participation, not just one-off events.
When more than one person shares your email
It's common for parents to register their children, team leads to register their team, or family members to share one email address. Eventene supports this by letting more than one person live on a single account — each is called a Persona.
If you share an email with someone else who's been added to a Program:
- Both names appear on your account
- You can switch between them in the Webform or Mobile App by tapping the circled initials at the top of the screen
- Each Persona has their own registration, schedule, payments, and (in the Mobile App) Digital Badge
If you don't share your email with anyone in this Program, you can ignore this — you are the only Persona on your account.
Web and Mobile Access
You can use Eventene either in a browser or in the Mobile App.
- In a browser, you typically return using your personal link
- In the Mobile App, you stay signed in and can access your Programs anytime
Both give you access to the same information — they just look and feel different.
