Update Your Responses

If your plans change, you can update your registration after the fact — for example, change which activities you are attending, fix an answer, or adjust an optional item.

You can only update what the organizer has left editable. If you cannot change something, contact the organizer.

What you can usually update

  • Which activities you are attending (when attendance is optional)
  • Answers to questions
  • Quantities of optional items in your cart
  • Personal information on your profile

How to update

  1. Get back into your registration — by clicking your link in a recent email, opening the bookmark you saved, or opening the Eventene app
  2. Go to the activity or question you want to change
  3. Update your selection or answer
  4. Save

Step 1 is the only place the experience differs between browser and app: in a browser you follow a link; in the app you just open it. Once you are in, the rest is the same.

For paid items, changing what you are signed up for may require a new checkout. Refunds, if any, are handled by the organizer.

If you cannot edit something

  • The activity's response window has closed. A closed activity stays visible but read-only — you can see your selection but not change it. If the organizer allows late sign-ups, you can still respond until the activity starts.
  • You're already attending and the deadline has passed. Once the deadline passes, you can't cancel your own confirmed spot — contact the organizer if your plans changed.
  • You're on the waitlist. You can still leave the waitlist for a closed activity even after the deadline. If a spot opens before the deadline (and the activity promotes automatically), you'll be moved in and emailed — the subject reads "A spot is now available."
  • The activity has already happened. Completed activities are no longer shown for editing.
  • A required item that is already paid for cannot be edited; contact the organizer
  • For refunds or special changes, contact the organizer directly
