Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan

Overview

You can move between Eventene plans at any time as your needs change. Upgrading gets you more capacity and features right away; downgrading takes effect immediately and is credited toward your next invoice.

Only the Owner or users with Admin privilege can change the Organization's plan. Organizers cannot.

How to Use It

Change your plan

  1. Sign in to Eventene
  2. Open the Account page from the left sidebar
  3. Go to the Organization tab
  4. Find the Account Type section showing your current plan
  5. Click the gear icon next to Account Type
  6. Choose a new plan and confirm

The change takes effect immediately.

How upgrades work

When you upgrade from one paid plan to a higher one:

  • You receive a pro-rated credit for the unused portion of your current billing cycle
  • The credit is applied to the new monthly or annual rate of the higher plan

You start using the higher plan's features as soon as the upgrade is confirmed.

How downgrades work

When you downgrade from one paid plan to a lower one:

  • You move to the lower plan immediately
  • Your account is credited for the difference between the two plans for the unused portion of the current cycle
  • The credit is applied to your next invoice on your billing date

Discount codes

If you have a discount code, you can apply it to your existing plan or enter it when switching to a new plan. Discount codes are entered on the same plan-change screen.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Upgrade just before launching a Program that needs more capacity, so you do not pay for the higher tier longer than needed
  • Downgrades apply right away — confirm you no longer need the higher-tier features before switching
  • Apply discount codes during the change so they are factored into the new rate
