What's New in the App

Recent improvements to the Eventene Mobile App. Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play to get them all.

Register even when things are tight

The app now handles waitlists and late sign-ups from start to finish:

  • If an activity is full, you can join its waitlist, and you'll see Waitlisted as your status.
  • If your organizer allows late sign-ups, you can still sign up (or join the waitlist) after the response deadline has passed.
  • After the deadline, the app tells you clearly when a change — such as cancelling — is no longer allowed, instead of letting you make one that won't stick.

A friendlier first run

New to the app? A short guided tour now walks you through the basics the first time you sign in, so you know where to find your events, your schedule, and your Digital Badge.

Smoother surveys and questions

Answering your organizer's questions is more reliable:

  • Your in-progress answers are remembered if you leave and come back before finishing.
  • Questions expand and move between activities more smoothly, and finishing a survey now takes you to the right place.

Better chat

  • Pinned photos look right. When an organizer pins a message that includes a picture, it now shows a neat thumbnail — with a photo icon, and a clear "Photo" label when there's no text — instead of a squeezed or empty-looking pin.
  • Unpinning a message now works cleanly.

Clearer sign-in and payments

  • If you enter an email the app doesn't recognize, it now tells you right away, so you can try the address your organizer used to invite you. See how sign-in works.
  • Paying is smoother — including when someone else is paying for your order, where the app no longer sends you to the wrong screen. See Pay for an Event.

More reliable on more devices

We fixed a range of stability and layout issues so the app runs more smoothly across phones — including specific fixes for certain Samsung and OnePlus devices, Android navigation, and the on-screen keyboard.

For event staff and organizers using the app

If you also help run events from the app, two changes make working with your participant lists easier:

  • Tags now appear on people in the participant and assignment lists, so you can see each person's segments at a glance.
  • Filters let you narrow the participant and assignment lists to find the right people faster.
