Manage Your Organization
Overview
Your Organization holds your account-level settings: the name and logo your participants see, your account type (plan), and how to contact you. This article covers what you can manage on the Organization tab and how the four tabs of the Account page fit together.
How to Use It
Open your Organization settings
- Sign in to Eventene
- Click the Account icon in the left sidebar
- The page opens to the Organization tab by default
What you can manage on the Organization tab
The Organization tab is where you control how your Organization appears across Eventene.
- Organization Details — name and key information for your Organization
- Logo — the image shown on participant-facing pages, registration, and emails. We recommend a horizontal aspect ratio, e.g. 400 width x 100 height, which will appear more naturally in the headers of emails. But you can also use a square logo.
- Account Type — your current plan; the gear icon next to this section opens the plan picker. See Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan.
- Organization Contact Information — the contact details participants see and use to reach you
- Linked Accounts — Stripe (for Payments), Google, and Facebook. Only the Owner can link or unlink Stripe.
The other Account tabs
The Account page has three other tabs that handle different concerns.
- Profile — your personal information: name, email, phone, time zone, language, and password. See Create an Organizer Account.
- Billing — your Billing Profile, payment history, and payment method. See Billing & Payment Methods.
- Users — collaborators on your Organization and their roles. See Account Roles & Permissions.
Permissions on Organization settings
- The Owner can change anything on the Organization tab, including links to Stripe.
- Admins can manage Organization details but cannot remove the organizer accoun or link or unlink Stripe.
- Organizers and lower roles cannot view or change Organization-level settings beyond what is required for the Programs they run.
Tips & Best Practices
- Set your logo and Organization name early — they appear on participant-facing pages and emails
- Review your Organization Contact Information regularly; it is what participants use when they reach out
- Keep the Owner account secure since only the Owner can manage the Stripe link
- For Stripe-specific setup, see Configuring Payments
