Repeat & Scale

Most Programs in Eventene are not one-off events. They repeat — a monthly meetup, a quarterly training, an annual conference, an ongoing membership. The platform is built around this assumption.

This section is the entry point for using Eventene's reuse capabilities effectively across many Programs over time.

How repeat-and-scale works in Eventene

Because Groups persist independently from any one Program (What is a Group?), running a similar Program for the next quarter, season, or year does not mean rebuilding from scratch. You:

  • Reference the same Main Group in the new Program — your roster is already there
  • Copy a previous Program to inherit its Activities, settings, communications, and registration setup
  • Carry forward participant data — Custom Fields, Tags, Personas, Eventene IDs — without re-importing

This continuity is what makes ongoing program coordination practical. Each new run starts with the lessons (and the data) of the previous one.

Reusing people

  • The same Main Group can be referenced by many Programs over time
  • People you added once continue to exist; Subgroups recalculate automatically based on rules
  • Tags on People persist and can drive segmentation in future Programs (What are Tags?)
  • Personas (multiple people on one account) persist with the account (What is a Persona?)

When to use this section

  • You are planning a recurring Program (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • You are improving an existing Program template based on what you learned from the last run
  • You are coordinating an ongoing membership or training series
