Managing Event Pages

Every Event has one or more Pages — the attendee-facing information pages that make up your Event Website. A Page might hold your event overview, a schedule, travel and lodging details, an FAQ, sponsor information, or anything else you want participants to read.

Pages are created and edited in the Pages workspace, reached from the Pages menu in the event menu bar (immediately to the right of Summary).

A note on terminology. These information pages were previously called Tabs (or Event Description Tabs). They are now called Pages everywhere in the app. If you used Eventene before this change, the content is the same — only the name and the dedicated workspace are new.

Where your Pages appear

The Pages you manage here are the single source of your Event's information content, and the same Pages appear on every attendee-facing surface in Eventene:

You don't maintain separate versions for web and mobile. Edit a Page once and the change shows up everywhere participants can see it; hide a Page and it disappears from every surface; reorder the Pages and the new order applies across all of them. This is why there's just one Pages workspace — it's the one place that drives what attendees read, no matter how they reach your Event.

The Pages workspace

Open an Event and click Pages. The workspace is a three-column layout:

Column What it holds
Left — Page selector A permanent, always-visible list of every Page in the Event
Center — Rich-text editor The editor for the Page you have selected
Right — Help & Resources Quick links to the Help Center articles for building your Event Website

Because everything lives on one screen, you can edit a Page's content, switch between Pages, and reach the relevant help without leaving the workspace.

The Page selector

The left column lists all of your Pages in order. Each row shows:

  • A circled number indicating the Page's position
  • The Page name
  • An eye icon showing visibility — a dark eye means the Page is shown to participants; a gray, crossed-out eye means it is hidden

Click any row to load that Page into the center editor. The selected Page's name also appears in a title bar above the editor, so you always know which Page you're editing. Switching Pages is instant — there's no page reload.

To manage the list itself (add, rename, reorder, hide, or delete Pages), click the gear / settings button in the Page selector's header to open the Manage Pages side panel — see Managing your Pages below.

Editing a Page

The center column is the same rich-text editor used elsewhere in Eventene. Select a Page on the left, then:

  1. Click the pencil icon to enter edit mode
  2. Format your content using the toolbar — text styles, images, video, tables, files, links, and more
  3. Click the checkmark icon to save

The editor also auto-saves every 10 seconds, including while you switch between Pages, so your work is protected even if you forget to click the checkmark. As always, confirm your last change is saved before closing the browser tab.

For the full editor reference, see Using the Rich-Text Editor. For specific recipes, see Adding Buttons, Formatting Tables, Embedding Other Websites, and Inserting Files, Links, and Attachments.

The Help & Resources panel

The right column is a Help & Resources panel — a short, curated set of Help Center links for building your Event Website, grouped into Getting Started, Content, and Publishing. Each link opens in a new tab, and a Browse the Help Center link at the bottom takes you to the full documentation. It's there so guidance is one click away while you're editing, without cluttering the workspace.

Sharing moved to Summary. The quick-share options that used to sit in this column now live in the Promote Event card on the Event's Summary page. From there you can copy the Event Website URL, open the public site, use your device's native Share… sheet, and copy, download, or print a QR Code. See What is an Event Website? for how sharing works and what visitors see when they open the link.

Managing your Pages

Click the gear / settings button in the Page selector header to open the Manage Pages side panel. From here you can add, rename, reorder, hide, and delete Pages. Each Page in the panel has a drag handle, its name, a visibility toggle, and a "..." overflow menu.

Creating a Page

Click New Page to add a Page to the end of the list. Give it a name (up to 50 characters) and it appears immediately in the Page selector, ready to edit. An Event can have up to 20 Pages.

Renaming a Page

Click a Page's name in the Manage Pages panel to edit it inline, type the new name, and confirm. (You can also choose Rename from the Page's "..." menu.) Page names are limited to 50 characters; keep them short so they read cleanly in the selector.

Reordering Pages

Drag a Page by its move handle to a new position in the list — the order in the panel is the order participants see. You can also use Move Page... from the "..." menu. The first Page in the list is the one visitors land on first.

Hiding and showing Pages

Each Page has a visibility toggle with an eye icon:

  • Shown (dark eye) — participants can see the Page
  • Hidden (gray, crossed-out eye) — the Page is kept in Eventene but not shown to participants

Hiding is useful for drafting a Page before it's ready, or temporarily pulling one down without deleting its content. Visibility is reflected by the eye icon next to each Page in the Page selector.

Deleting a Page

Choose Delete Page from the Page's "..." menu. Deleting removes the Page and its content, so hide a Page instead if you might want it back later.

Pages vs. the organizer Description

Don't confuse attendee-facing Pages with the Description field in Edit Event:

  • Pages (this workspace) are rich, formatted, attendee-facing content on your Event Website.
  • The Description field in Edit Event is a short, plain-text note for organizers — a place to summarize the event for your own team. It is separate from Pages and is not shown to participants.

See Create an Event for the organizer Description field.
